I saw this link up that Erin at Living In Yellow hosted a few weeks ago that I fell in love with. It’s been going around the blogosphere, and I’ve seen plenty of variations of this list. So, I decided to take my own stab at a list of things I believe in. Here goes:
I believe in having infinite hope, even when there is no hope to be had.
I believe there is nothing better than laughing with your best friends. Nothing is more genuine and pure and nothing gives you a greater “high on life” feeling.
I believe in unplanned dance parties, and turning everything into a song, even when no music is playing.
I believe in the importance of friendship.
I believe in curling up with a good book on a rainy day.
I believe in wine.
I believe music is good for the soul.
I believe that love conquers all.
I believe in taking personal days.
I believe in taking pictures wherever you go.
I believe in the power of the written and spoken word.
I believe in Football Sundays, wings and beer.
I believe that working with children is the most rewarding feeling.
I believe you can achieve any out-of-reach dream you want.
I believe in planning, but I also believe in spontaneity.
I believe in fighting to keep people in your life, but I also believe sometimes, it’s better to just let go.
I believe in being grateful for the people and things I have in my life.
I believe in donating to charities.
I believe that coffee is the nectar of the gods.
I believe there is good in everyone.
I believe in lasting and true love.
I believe I was born in the wrong decade. The 1940s are calling my name.
I believe in speaking your own opinion and standing up for what you believe in, even if you’re standing alone.
I believe you should celebrate everything – including small victories.
I believe happiness is a mood, and is a choice – and one that should be chosen daily.
What do you believe in?
xo, Jackie

I believe in change. I believe that things go on. I believe that either joy or sorrow will pass. I believe in letting go.
PS: another beautiful post of yours!
I agree with you in believing coffee is the nectar of the gods…also that I was born in the wrong decade (except please let me bring my camera into the 1940s?) Have a great thursday!!
